Corporate and Community Events That Create Real Impact
At Beyond Basic Needs, we believe giving back should be meaningful, memorable, and measurable. Whether you are rallying your company, energizing your community, or empowering the next generation through a mitzvah project, we create experiences that bring people together and deliver comfort to cancer warriors when they need it most.
Volunteers, families, and loved ones play a vital role in assembling and distributing these care kits, helping to provide comfort and hope to those affected by cancer. Care kits can be requested online through nonprofit websites, and the contents are customized to meet the needs of each patient.
Corporate Events
Team Building With Purpose
Your team is looking for more than another meeting in a conference room. They want to connect, collaborate, and make a difference. Our Corporate Chemo Care Kit Build Days transform team-building into a shared mission of hope.
Volunteers help assemble care kits that include special items tailored to each patient’s needs, and the items in each kit may vary to ensure a personalized touch. We provide all the materials, guidance, and stories that bring the project to life. Your employees leave with a sense of purpose and the knowledge that they made a real difference for people facing cancer with thoughtfully curated care packages designed to provide comfort and emotional support during treatment.
Community Events
Mobilizing for Good
When neighbors come together, amazing things happen. We partner with community groups, schools, houses of worship, and civic organizations to host impactful volunteer events that strengthen bonds and spark ongoing acts of kindness. From hosting a Chemo Care Kit Build Day at a community center to organizing a supply drive, your group can help deliver hope and dignity to cancer warriors right in your area.
Friends and caregivers can provide extra support to those recently diagnosed with cancer by participating in these events, offering encouragement, practical help, and a sense of community during a challenging time.
Chemo Care Kits include comforting items like blankets, socks, journals, and tumblers to support cancer warriors undergoing chemotherapy, making them a thoughtful gift for those diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones.
Mitzvah Projects
Compassion in Action
For young people preparing for a bar or bat mitzvah, a mitzvah project is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in your local community. We help you create a project that is hands-on, heart-led, and deeply meaningful. From personalized chemo care kits to creative fundraising, you will see the impact of your mitzvah and know that you brought hope to someone’s most difficult days.
Helpful items to include in a chemo care kit are a reusable water bottle, electrolyte drink mix, blanket, organic lip balm, a handwritten note, and other special items that provide warmth and comfort during chemotherapy, recovery from surgery, or while patients are recovering at home.
These items can be especially helpful for patients recovering from surgery or undergoing chemotherapy, and including entertainment items, favorite drinks, and personalized items from home can provide extra comfort and support.
